On 19 February 2025, the login process for you to access your ElectricSuper account in your Member Online portal is changing. We are introducing additional security measures.

What will happen?

When you first log into your account after the system has changed over, you will be asked to enter the email address we have on file for you, and mobile phone number.

The email address needs to be unique (that is, not shared with another ElectricSuper member). Multi Factor Authentication will then check your details and allow you access to your Member Online portal.

Which email should I use?

The email address you use needs to be the one we have on file for you. If you share an email with another ElectricSuper member, you won’t both be able to use the same email address.

Either (or both) of you can update your email address in the secure area of the member portal before the change goes live on 19th February 2025. You could also choose to contact our Helpline on 1300 307 844 and update your email address with us over the phone.

Why is this change being made?

This change is being made to add an additional level of security to your online records. Multi-factor authentication will help to keep your ElectricSuper account safer.

Additionally, your login details will then not need to change if you move from one type of ElectricSuper account to another (such as moving from a super account to a pension account, or moving from an active super account to a retained super account).

What if I update my email or phone number?

If you update your email address or phone number, the new system will take up to approximately 4 hours to process this change. After that approximate 4 hour timeframe, you will be able to log into the Member Online portal system.

What if I don’t have a mobile number?

Unfortunately the system requires a mobile number. If you don’t have a mobile, the online system won’t be able to send a verification code and therefore, won’t connect you.

The Helpline is still available for you on 1300 307 844 so you can obtain your account information and make updates to your account.

Do I have to use the same email address I already use?

Yes. Your existing email address is the one to use.

The only exception is if your current email is already also used on another ElectricSuper member’s account and they have already used this ‘shared’ email to log into their Member Online system. In this case, you will need to set up a different, unique email address with us. Call us on 1300 307 844 to set up a new email address on your account.

Can I keep using my previous login details?

No.

The details you currently use (that is, your member number and PIN) will no longer work to log you into your Member Online portal from 19 February 2025. You will need to use your email address and password.
